Travel the world and rediscover life.

The last time we came here, it was an entirely different place ! The long stretch from Town Hall to Jallianwala Bagh has a different description in a matter of just 330 days. A place which has nothing of the old bustle, inspired by European architecture, it has been possible with the help of architect Anup Bartaria and his firm called Sincere Architects.

Also, there is a mini replica of Parliament and a giant-sized statue of architect of the Indian Constitution, BR Ambedkar.

“This is the first phase of my vision to create a heritage street on the pattern of Europe. In the second phase, if re-elected, all roads leading to Golden temple from Hall Gate will be redone on the same pattern within a year and a half,” said Chief Minister of Punjab, Parkash Singh Badal.

The first phase of the beautification project had cost Rs 103 crore and the basement centres which will beam the history of Golden Temple electronically, will run up an expenditure of another Rs 52 crore.

Sukhbir has announced that he would spend Rs 500 to Rs 600 crore for the facelift of the holy city.
